Abstract
At LNE, a new 50 Ω primary standard with a female type N connector (7 mm) was just developed for providing one-port traceable S-parameters measurements in this frequency range [1]. The typical expanded uncertainties (k = 2) are in the range 1.10-3 to 4.10-3 and in the range 2,5.10-3 to 1.10-2 for reflection coefficient values close to 0 and above 1.10-2 respectively. To complete the LNE measurement capabilities, a 50 Ω load with a male type N connector is currently being developed which will be establish the traceability of two-ports S-parameters measurements. The development of the 50 Ω load with a male type N connector is presented in this paper.
