Abstract
Within the framework of a collective action piloted by the ARIATT and supported by the DRAAF and the DIRECCTE of Franche-Comté, a diagnosis metrology was realized with 5 companies of the food-processing industry in the region. These companies are SMEs/SMIs.
The objective was to establish a state of the art in metrology, from the selection of equipment to the use in workshops. Moreover, many companies have an internal laboratory that performs physical, chemical bacteriological or microbiological analysis. Diagnoses were therefore also focused on this activity.
The investigations were conducted in order to address all the elements that contribute to the control of the measures. In every business, the diagnosis took place over 2 days with an interval of months.
In conclusion, although the approach metrology is very different from one company to another, it was possible to identify the strong points and the axes of progress. These focus on clarifying the responsibilities, increased skills to improve metrology management and, above all, to optimize it.
In this paper, we’ll specifically develop the approach implemented and we’ll detail the conclusions.
