Traceable flatness calibration with substitution method

This paper describes a traceable method to calibrate a flat surface with substitution method using aCMM within the manufacturing unit. Method has been tested in an accredited calibration laboratory with ahigh end CMM. Previous publications within academy have described flatness measurement end theuncertainty connected with it very thoroughly, but now the trace to definition of the meter is introduced.
