A novel computational method is proposed for the accurate determination of the electrical conductivity of non-ferrous metal samples in the wide frequency range. The forward and inverse problems solution have been proposed allowing computation of the AC conductivity value from the electrical impedance change measurements of a thoroughly characterised inductive sensor. The developed method is applicable in the accurate electrical conductivity measurements at frequencies up to 500 kHz with the measurement uncertainty less than 1 % of the measured value.
